CASSO is primarily a service-oriented organization.

Our mission is to provide software applications and data services that enable and assist Control Areas to reliably operate the interconnected electrical system.

To that end, CASSO has provided services in and around the Pacific Northwest since 1996.

All of CASSO’s staff is intimately familiar with electric utility operations and wholesale energy transaction concepts. This helps us to provide software that works as required, with the ability to match our customer's needs today - and in the future.

CASSO has provided numerous energy accounting, electronic tagging, and end-to-end data link solutions. Currently, with CASSO’s NetCheck system, CASSO is providing service to the 17 NWPP control areas under the Control Area Reliability System (CARES) contract. The requirements of the CARES contract almost exactly parallel the requirements of Module 2 of the WIT RFP.
